Export of fresh apples from Namibia: Fall in 2016

The variable went down sharply by 70.91% in 2016, according to numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. Apples export fell greatly from 157 413 kilogram in 2015 to 45 784 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 51.02%. Namibia saw a diminution of 51.35% in apples export over the past 17 years. Besides, it has shown a drop at a 0.41% CAGR over the last five years with a slight overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 629 518.53 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 5 104 847 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 33 120 kilogram in 2001.
