Import of natural gas in gaseous state to Belgium rises in 2017

Natural gas import increased sharply by 75.08% in comparison to 2016, refreshed data from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Natural gas import greatly went up by 12 824 689 664 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 4.39 percent. The overall changes for the previous 19 years hit a raise of 194.35%. As well as it has attained a growth at a 0.01% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 27 635 132 901.05 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 59 073 798 144 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 10 159 934 464 kilogram in 1999.
