Import of natural gas in gaseous state to Belgium: Rise in 2017

According to revised figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office, natural gas import grew strongly by 75.08% in comparison with the prior year. The variable sharply rose by 12 824 689 664 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 4.39%. The overall changes for the prior 19 years attained an increase of 194.35%. Likewise, it has had a 0.01% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 27 635 132 901.05 kilogram from 1999 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 59 073 798 144 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 10 159 934 464 kilogram in 1999.
