Import of cuttings and slips, not rooted to Malaysia: Decrease in 2017

According to new statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with 2016 flower import decreased by 15.83%. Flower import diminished from 348 264 in 2016 to 293 130 prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 268.8%. The overall changes for the prior 29 years reached an increase of 81.29%. Likewise, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.12 percent over the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 1 456 755.48 from 1989 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 32 775 630 in 2008 and record low of 23 158 in 2011.
