Chromium consumption in Turkey decreases in 2015

According to updated figures issued by U.S. Geological Survey, chromium consumption fell by 13.71 percent in 2015. The variable dropped by 108 thousand tonnes, versus the prior year when it increased by 33.79%. Turkey saw a decline of 4 957.14% in chromium consumption during the last 13 years. Moreover, it has shown a rise at a 0.25% CAGR over the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 213.53 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 788 thousand tonnes in 2014 and record low of -35 thousand tonnes in 2008.
