Motor and aviation gasoline import in Ireland rises in March 2018

According to figures announced by JODI Data, motor and aviation gasoline import went up by 20 percent compared with the prior month. Motor and aviation gasoline import grew from 507 thousand barrels to 608.4 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it climbed by 81.82 percent. One year earlier, this shift attained -48.25% and the motor and aviation gasoline import reached 498.55 thousand barrels the same month in 2017. This reveals a 22.03% fluctuation between March 2017 and the same month in 2018. Ireland saw a decline of 12.2% in motor and aviation gasoline import over the past 16 years. In comparison with its average, the motor and aviation gasoline import is now lower as the mean equals 701.09 thousand barrels with a moderate overall drop since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 1 529.45 thousand barrels in February 2013 and record low of 278.85 thousand barrels in January 2018.
