Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Slovakia: Raise in 2016

European Commission reported that in comparison to the previous year yarn import sharply climbed by 77.05 percent. The indicator rose strongly by 4 700 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it dropped by 67.03 percent. Slovakia saw a rise of 620% in yarn import over the past 9 years. As well as it has had a 0.1 percent average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the 2008. It averaged 8 244.44 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 18 500 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 1 300 kilogram in 2010.
