Flax yarn import grew greatly by 158.05% compared to the previous year, according to new data issued by European Commission. Flax yarn import strongly rose by 15 410 Euro, in contrast to the prior year when it fell by 85.8 percent. Lithuania saw a rise of 13.28% in flax yarn import during the last 13 years. Still it has had a decline at a 0.13 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 26 801.54 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 68 680 Euro in 2015 and record low of 2 820 Euro in 2006.
