Global tungsten production declines in 2016

According to statistics released by U.S. Geological Survey, in comparison to the previous year the variable declined negligibly by 3.36%. Tungsten production fell slightly by 3 000 metric ton, in contrast to the prior year when it rose by 2.76%. The indicator saw a 133.51% growth during the last 19 years. Likewise, it has had a raise at a 0.02 percent CAGR during the five years with a modest overall rise since the 1998. It averaged 63 568.42 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 89 400 metric ton in 2015 and record low of 37 000 metric ton in 1998.
