Sold production of ready-mixed concrete in Greece falls in 2017

According to updated data announced by European Commission, concrete sold production diminished negligibly by 3.4% compared with the previous year. Concrete sold production barely declined from 10 903 842 816 kilogram to 10 532 582 400 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 6.12 percent. Greece saw a decline of 49.64% in concrete sold production over the past 17 years. Besides, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 21 293 134 305.88 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 36 158 078 976 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 8 470 199 296 kilogram in 2012.
