Export of chewing gum from Hungary: Increase in 2017

European Commission reported that in comparison with the year before chewing gum export sharply went up by 43.06%. Chewing gum export rose greatly by 535 220 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it decreased by 39.71%. The overall changes for the prior 17 years attained a rise of 1.97%. However, it has had a diminution at a 0.18 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall raise since the 2001. It averaged 3 451 532.94 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 8 126 120 Euro in 2008 and record low of 1 242 930 Euro in 2016.
