Export of chemical wood pulp, sulphite, other than dissolving grades from Belgium: Decrease in 2017

Chemical pulp export decreased greatly by 67.4% in comparison to the previous year, revised data from European Commission show. Chemical pulp export sharply declined from 3 011 690 Euro to 981 720 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 30.38%. It's the lowest number ever diagnosed since 1995. The overall changes for the previous 23 years hit a decrease of 87.57%. Furthermore, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.39 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 8 823 367.39 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 17 331 110 Euro in 2012.
