Jet fuel import in United States declines in June 2018

Jet fuel import fell by 16.01 percent compared with the previous month, according to figures announced by JODI Data. Jet fuel import went down from 631 thousand tonnes to 530 thousand tonnes, in comparison with the previous month when it went up by 81.32 percent. In June of the year before, the variable dropped by -6.08 percent and reached 494 thousand tonnes. This pinpoints a 7.29 percent change between June 2017 and the same month in 2018. United States saw a growth of 51.86% in jet fuel import over the past 9 years. Compared to its average, the jet fuel import is now bigger as the mean equals 401.23 thousand tonnes with a slight overall raise since the 2009. It hit its all-time high of 969 thousand tonnes in October 2017 and record low of 18 thousand tonnes in March 2012.
