Import of not knitted or crocheted women's and girls' skirts of wool or fine animal hair to Australia decreases in 2016

According to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office, women's clothing import went down by 12.9 percent in comparison to the prior year. Women's clothing import fell from 51 196 kilogram to 44 591 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it rose by 7.02%. Australia saw a growth of 139.41% in women's clothing import during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.3% over the 5 years with a moderate overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 40 753.76 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 86 552 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 11 823 kilogram in 2012.
