Production of aromatic monocarboxylic acids (anhydrides) in Germany: Drop in 2017

European Commission announced that in comparison to the previous year organic chemicals production fell by 11.42%. The indicator went down by 237 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 1.1%. The overall changes for the previous 23 years hit a drop of 32.49%. Moreover, it has shown a raise at a 0.03 percent compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the 1995. It averaged 2 123 130.43 kilogram from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 5 499 000 kilogram in 1998 and record low of 1 445 000 kilogram in 2014.
