Import of sewing thread of artificial staple fibres to New Zealand: Decrease in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that synthetic fiber import went down sharply by 50.16 percent compared to 2016. The indicator greatly decreased by 1 078.41 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 26.09%. The overall changes for the previous 29 years attained a rise of 69.56%. Still it has had a decrease at a 0.2% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 5 454.99 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 15 604 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 552 kilogram in 1991.
