Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Tanzania goes down in 2016

The variable went down sharply by 63.26% in comparison with the previous year, adjusted data from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. Horses import greatly dropped from 5 479 US Dollar to 2 013 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 851.22%. Tanzania saw a drop of 99.69% in horses import during the last 22 years. Moreover, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.28 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 51 268.91 US Dollar from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 653 177 US Dollar in 1995 and record low of 484 US Dollar in 1999.
