Export of copper chain and parts thereof from Pakistan climbs in 2016

Copper export strongly grew by 45.87% in comparison with one year earlier, updated data from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The indicator went up greatly from 1 210 kilogram in 2015 to 1 765 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 63.51 percent. Pakistan saw a growth of 43.5% in copper export during the last 14 years. Though, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.03 percent over the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 8 095.14 kilogram from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 69 819 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 20 kilogram in 2006.
