Sales of jams, marmalades, fruit jellies, fruit or nut purees and pastes in France: Rise in 2016

The indicator went up negligibly by 3.1 percent in 2016, according to numbers announced by European Commission. It attained its 22-year peak as sweets spreads sales hardly increased from 530 752.13 thousand kilograms to 547 181.31 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 3.27 percent. France saw a rise of 222.28% in sweets spreads sales during the last 22 years. Furthermore, it has shown a increase at a 0.03 percent CAGR during the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the 1995. It averaged 226 756.56 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 169 786.42 thousand kilograms in 1995.
