Export of egg albumin from Finland decreases in 2016

In comparison to the previous year the indicator sharply went down by 89.13 percent, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Egg albumin export strongly declined by 204 522 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 42.98 percent. The overall changes for the previous 28 years hit a decrease of 21.44%. Likewise, it has had a diminution at a 0.4 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 235 807.96 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 567 764 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 2 000 kilogram in 1993.
