Refined oil products export in Canada: Diminution in June 2018

According to figures released by JODI Data, compared with the previous month the variable dropped by 11.74%. Refined oil products export diminished by 1 602 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it declined by 6.63%. The previous year, the indicator was going down by -9.29% and hit 15 815 thousand barrels the same month one year earlier. Year-on-year, this shows a -23.85 percent variation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. Canada saw a drop of 3.36% in refined oil products export during the last 16 years. Besides, the refined oil products export is now lower than its average which equals 14 154.87 thousand barrels with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 21 467 thousand barrels in January 2015 and record low of 8 853 thousand barrels in October 2016.
