Import of pen nibs and nib points to Tanzania drops in 2016

Consumer goods import declined by 13.71 percent compared with one year earlier, adjusted data from United Nations Statistical Office show. The indicator went down by 1 990 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 52.18 percent. Tanzania saw an increase of 1 252 500% in consumer goods import over the past 19 years. However, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.32 percent during the last 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1998. It averaged 22 455.58 kilogram from 1998 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 113 226 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 1 kilogram in 1998.
