Fuel oil demand in Chinese Taipei drops in June 2018

JODI Data reported that the indicator decreased by 9.84 percent compared to May. Fuel oil demand fell from 96.78 thousand barrels per day to 87.26 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the previous month when it went up by 11.16 percent. In June of the year before, the variable dropped by -13.44% and hit 97.29 thousand barrels per day. Between June 2017 and June 2018, the numbers present a -10.31 percent change. Chinese Taipei saw a decrease of 62.69% in fuel oil demand during the last 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 161.45 thousand barrels per day with a moderate overall decline since the 2002. It reached its all-time high of 277.8 thousand barrels per day in July 2003 and record low of 77.71 thousand barrels per day in February 2018.
