Fuel oil demand in Chinese Taipei increases in May 2018

JODI Data published that the variable rose by 11.06 percent compared with the prior month. Fuel oil demand went up by 9.63 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the previous month when it went down by 3.84 percent. The numbers reached 112.32 thousand barrels per day in May 2017, which is a 1.59% shift in comparison to the previous month of 2017. This demonstrates a -13.9% variation between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a diminution of 57.31%. Furthermore, the fuel oil demand is now smaller than its average which equals 158.38 thousand barrels per day with a moderate overall decrease since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 267.56 thousand barrels per day in July 2003 and record low of 77.61 thousand barrels per day in February 2018.
