Import of cutting machines for paper pulp, paper or paperboard to Australia: Decline in 2016

The indicator fell by 21.65 percent in 2016, according to new numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Industrial equipment import diminished by 209 059 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 2.99%. Australia saw a diminution of 18.08% in industrial equipment import during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has had a fall at a 0.07% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the 2000. It averaged 1 149 978.82 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 711 163 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 717 187 kilogram in 2001.
