Export of household, hospital and sanitary supplies of paper from Malaysia: Rise in 2017

Consumer goods export increased by 24.57% in 2017, according to new data released by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable rose from 13 643 897 US Dollar in 2016 to 16 996 158 US Dollar prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it fell by 16.79%. However, it has shown a decrease at a 0.14% CAGR during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 6 001 075.66 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 36 470 416 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 26 503 US Dollar in 1989.
