Coffee production in Ivory Coast increases in 2016

According to figures announced by International Coffee Organization, coffe production went up by 5.67% compared to the previous year. The variable rose from 1 892.77 thousand of bags (60kg) in 2015 to 2 000 thousand of bags (60kg) prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 8.15 percent. Ivory Coast saw a decline of 31.98% in coffe production over the past 27 years. As well as it has shown a decrease at a 0.01 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 2 747.01 thousand of bags (60kg) from 1990 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 6 320.44 thousand of bags (60kg) in 1999 and record low of 982.34 thousand of bags (60kg) in 2010.
