Kaolin production in Slovakia: Stagnation in 2014

U.S. Geological Survey reported that compared with the previous year clay production did not change. The clay production was 6 000 metric ton, for the 2nd consecutive year. Slovakia saw a drop of 78.57% in clay production over the past 17 years. Besides, it has shown a 0.11 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 25 764.71 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its all-time high of 58 000 metric ton in 2006 and record low of 3 000 metric ton in 2012.
