Fresh collard greens production in United States decreases in 2017

U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that in 2017 fresh collard greens production declined by 10.11%. The indicator diminished from 476.14 million pounds (mass) in 2016 to 428 million pounds (mass) prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 14.08%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years hit an increase of 98.19%. Moreover, it has shown the CAGR of 0.01 percent during the last five years with a slight overall raise since the 1997. It averaged 284.13 million pounds (mass) from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 489.09 million pounds (mass) in 2014 and record low of 192.81 million pounds (mass) in 2006.
