Lead in concentrates production in Morocco declines in 2014

Lead production dropped by 30% in comparison to the prior year, according to figures published by U.S. Geological Survey. The variable diminished from 40 000 metric ton to 28 000 metric ton, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 2.3 percent. It attained its 17-year low. Morocco saw a drop of 64.69% in lead production during the last 17 years. As well as it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 51 344.82 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its maximum of 81 208 metric ton in 2000.
