Lead in concentrates production in Morocco: Decrease in 2014

According to figures issued by U.S. Geological Survey, compared to the previous year lead production declined by 30 percent. It's new all-time minimum since 1998 as lead production diminished by 12 000 metric ton, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 2.3%. Morocco saw a fall of 64.69% in lead production during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has attained a diminution at a 0.1% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall decline since the 1998. It averaged 51 344.82 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its maximum of 81 208 metric ton in 2000.
