Import of kaolin and other kaolinic clays to Serbia: Decline in 2016

Kaolin import declined by 7.31 percent in comparison with the previous year, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The variable decreased by 1 985 412 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it rose by 0.93 percent. The overall changes for the previous 12 years hit a rise of 4.21%. Still it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent over the last five years with a slight overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 35 009 987.83 kilogram from 2005 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 65 704 496 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 22 218 884 kilogram in 2013.
