Import of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of combed fibres containing more than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 192-125 decitex to Norway declines in 2017

According to revised figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, cotton import went down strongly by 78.17% compared with the previous year. Cotton import sharply diminished by 121 818.21 US Dollar, in comparison to the prior year when it grew by 25.5 percent. Norway saw a rise of 2 927.47% in cotton import over the past 22 years. As well as it has had a 0.14 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 47 986.54 US Dollar from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 407 810 US Dollar in 1998 and record low of 1 124 US Dollar in 1996.
