Re-import of nickel-cadmium electric accumulators to Luxembourg: Increase in 2016

Battery import went up strongly by 350 percent in 2016, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. The variable climbed sharply from 2 kilogram in 2015 to 9 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it fell by 50%. Luxembourg saw a decline of 10% in battery import over the past 9 years. Moreover, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.11 percent during the last five years with a moderate overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 15.67 kilogram from 2008 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 66 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 2 kilogram in 2015.
