Fuel oil consumption in heating in China: Rise in 2015

The variable barely increased by 0.12 percent in 2015, according to statistics published by China National Statistical Office. Fuel oil consumption negligibly grew by 0.19 ten thousand metric ton, versus the prior year when it diminished by 1.34%. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a decline of 43.31%. Furthermore, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 193.39 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 299.62 ten thousand metric ton in 2001 and record low of 100.71 ten thousand metric ton in 2009.
