Export of whole cinnamon and cinnamon-tree flowers from China falls in 2016

According to new figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator went down by 6.62 percent compared to the previous year. Cinnamon export declined from 71 694 008 US Dollar to 66 944 664 US Dollar, in comparison with the prior year when it increased by 11.42%. China saw a raise of 190.61% in cinnamon export during the last 25 years. Likewise, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.12% during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 35 821 745.12 US Dollar from 1992 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 71 694 008 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 16 427 400 US Dollar in 2000.
