Natural gas deliveries for electricity and heat generation in France increases in June 2018

Natural gas delivery went up strongly by 143.18% in comparison with the previous month, updated figures from JODI Data present. The indicator sharply grew by 1 794 terajoule, compared with the prior month when it decreased by 51.26 percent. When examining 2017, it can be observed that the variable was falling by -10.09% and attained 7 194 terajoule in June. Year-on-year, this reveals a -57.65% change between June 2017 and June of the year after. France saw a fall of 58.35% in natural gas delivery during the last 5 years. Moreover, the natural gas delivery is now smaller than its average which equals 8 488.12 terajoule with a marginal overall growth since the 2013. It reached its all-time high of 26 895 terajoule in December 2016 and record low of 154 terajoule in May 2015.
