Import of copper cathodes and sections of cathodes unwrought to Switzerland grows in 2016

Compared with the previous year copper import climbed by 20.51 percent, according to new data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Copper import rose from 419 276 kilogram in 2015 to 505 262 kilogram prior year, in comparison to the previous year when it fell by 52.37 percent. Switzerland saw a fall of 69.45% in copper import during the last 29 years. Likewise, it has had a decrease at a 0.03% average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall diminution since the 1988. It averaged 1 136 099.62 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 2 854 805 kilogram in 1991 and record low of 276 892 kilogram in 2009.
