Import of streptomycins to South Korea: Diminution in 2016

According to figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator strongly decreased by 34.25% compared to the previous year. Anti-infective import fell sharply by 32 896 kilogram, versus the prior year when it climbed by 16.56%. South Korea saw a fall of 52.5% in anti-infective import during the last 29 years. Furthermore, it has attained a decline at a 0.13% average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 83 924.48 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 153 695 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 25 488 kilogram in 1998.
