Flax yarn export greatly increased by 37.34% compared with the prior year, new statistics from European Commission display. The indicator sharply rose from 867 220 Euro in 2016 to 1 191 040 Euro previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it dropped by 37.02 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years hit a rise of 66 812.36%. However, it has shown a decrease at a 0.09 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall raise since the 2003. It averaged 558 986 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 927 750 Euro in 2013 and record low of 20 Euro in 2006.
