Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Kazakhstan goes down in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that the indicator fell greatly by 36.57 percent compared to the previous year. The variable sharply decreased by 9 960 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 86.88 percent. Kazakhstan saw a increase of 113.28% in horses import over the past 17 years. However, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.35% over the last 5 years with a modest overall growth since the 2001. It averaged 83 515.18 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 213 325 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 8 100 kilogram in 2001.
