Bentonite production in Poland: Decline in 2014

In 2014 clay production went down barely by 1.77%, revised statistics from U.S. Geological Survey illustrate. The indicator slightly declined by 18 metric ton, in contrast to the previous year when it climbed by 27.25%. Poland saw a drop of 81.48% in clay production during the last 17 years. Furthermore, it has shown a decrease at a 0.15% CAGR over the five years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 18 849.12 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it hit its all-time high of 93 900 metric ton in 2006 and record low of 800 metric ton in 2012.
