Fuel oil demand in Ireland: Decline in June 2018

JODI Data published that the indicator sharply fell by 33.33% compared to the previous month. It attained its 16-year minimum as fuel oil demand declined greatly by 19.35 thousand barrels, compared with the prior month when it grew by 50 percent. The variable had amounted to 51.6 thousand barrels in June 2017, which indicates no variation in comparison to May of 2017. Year-on-year, this reveals a -25 percent fluctuation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a drop of 97.27%. Furthermore, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 331.03 thousand barrels with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It hit its maximum of 1 419 thousand barrels in January 2002.
