Export of multiple (folded) or cabled yarn containing 85% or more by weight of staple fibres of nylon or other polyamides from Lithuania declines in 2016

According to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, synthetic fiber export sharply dropped by 31.85% in 2016. Synthetic fiber export declined greatly by 344 191 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it increased by 1 303.91%. The overall changes for the previous 22 years hit an increase of 2 857.87%. Likewise, it has attained a 1.12 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 114 221.18 US Dollar from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 080 672 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 434 US Dollar in 2001.
