Import of textile fabric for card clothing and for technical use to Argentina decreases in 2017

Textile import sharply dropped by 53 percent compared with one year earlier, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. It reveals the all-time low since 1993 as the indicator strongly declined from 5 696 kilogram to 2 676.98 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it climbed by 33.21%. The overall changes for the previous 25 years hit a decline of 80.31%. Likewise, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.47 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 21 463.64 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 83 530 kilogram in 2008.
