Fuel oil supply and demand balance in Portugal: Decline in June 2018

Fuel oil supply and demand balance sharply diminished by 550 percent compared with the previous month, according to data published by JODI Data. The variable went down greatly by 11 thousand tonnes, versus the prior month when it grew by 100 percent. When looking at 2017, it can be established that the indicator was falling by -212.5% and reached -9 thousand tonnes in June. This highlights a -200 percent variation between June 2017 and the same month one year later. Portugal saw a drop of 200% in fuel oil supply and demand balance over the past 9 years. Besides, the fuel oil supply and demand balance is now higher than its average which equals -0.63 thousand tonnes with a overall rise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 53 thousand tonnes in May 2015 and record low of -42 thousand tonnes in January 2014.
