Crude oil closing stocks in United Kingdom: Increase in May 2018

In comparison with the prior month crude oil closing stocks rose by 7.21 percent, according to figures announced by JODI Data. Crude oil closing stocks climbed by 289 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it increased by 6.4 percent. The data attained 4 073 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a -2.63% change in comparison to the previous month of 2017. Year-on-year, this highlights a 5.45 percent shift between May 2017 and the same month one year later. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a drop of 32.75%. Compared with its average, the crude oil closing stocks is now smaller as the mean equals 4 815.64 thousand tonnes with a slight overall fall since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 6 743 thousand tonnes in November 2002 and record low of 3 513 thousand tonnes in August 2013.
