Re-export of capsicum from Mauritius drops in 2016

According to new data presented by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2016 the indicator greatly dropped by 58.18%. Capsicum export strongly fell from 50 736 kilogram to 21 218 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 7.14 percent. Mauritius saw a growth of 1 234.47% in capsicum export over the past 16 years. As well as it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 3.39 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the 2001. It averaged 9 394.38 kilogram from 2001 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 54 639 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 13 kilogram in 2012.
