Import of prepared cereals to Samoa declines in 2017

Compared to the prior year prepared cereals import strongly decreased by 31.8%, according to new statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator greatly declined by 25 008.75 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 84.53%. The overall changes for the prior 17 years reached a decrease of 29.01%. Besides, it has attained the CAGR of 0.22% during the five years with a negligible overall drop since the 2001. It averaged 52 445.07 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 161 008 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 11 994 kilogram in 2009.
