Re-import of sugar confectionery to Thailand grows in 2016

The indicator sharply rose by 104.74% compared to one year earlier, according to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office. Sugar confectionery import increased strongly from 44 581 US Dollar to 91 275 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it fell by 78.96 percent. Thailand saw a rise of 167.62% in sugar confectionery import during the last 15 years. Furthermore, it has had a growth at a 0.85% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the 2002. It averaged 68 334.13 US Dollar from 2002 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 261 687 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 1 US Dollar in 2006.
