Copper refinery production in Laos goes up in 2015
Compared to the same time an year ago copper production barely grew by 0.9%, according to new data released by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator went up hardly by 800 metric ton, contrarily to the prior year when it decreased by 1.67 percent. Laos saw an increase of 192.98% in copper production over the past 11 years. Likewise, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.03% over the last five years with a slight overall growth since the 2005. It averaged 71 150.55 metric ton from 2005 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 90 000 metric ton in 2013 and record low of 30 480 metric ton in 2005.
