Export of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale from Sri Lanka climbs in 2017
In comparison to the same time an year ago construction equipment export greatly increased by 105.33 percent, according to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable rose sharply from 35 356 US Dollar in 2016 to 72 596.56 US Dollar previous year, compared to the prior year when it decreased by 77.83 percent. Sri Lanka saw a diminution of 27.57% in construction equipment export during the last 28 years. Moreover, it has shown a 0.43% CAGR over the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the 1990. It averaged 29 207.45 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 159 461 US Dollar in 2015 and record low of 20 US Dollar in 1994.
