Floor space completed by collective-owned construction enterprises in China: Fall in 2017

China National Statistical Office announced that compared with the prior year the variable fell by 5.14%. Construction production decreased by 811.74 ten thousand square meter, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 4.97%. China saw a rise of 41.71% in construction production during the last 29 years. Still it has shown a diminution at a 0.03 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the 1989. It averaged 22 535.33 ten thousand square meter from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 39 949.08 ten thousand square meter in 1999 and record low of 10 190.9 ten thousand square meter in 1990.
